  1. He sat and looked and another appeared, they were like evil monsters smelling blood. His feet almost numb, tickled as they hung over the old wooden dock ankle deep in the cool, clear water. Another one circled his left foot. Over there three feet away another one. Leeches one by one coming his way, flapping through the water like a flag on a breezy day. He quickly pulled his feet out of the water, two had already attached themselves to the soles of his feet, one on his ankle...

  3. At first there appeared to be just a few, but on second glance there were hundreds of these grotesque creatures all looking voraciously hungry, and out for their first meal of the day. My panic soon abated when I realised the truth. I had mistakenly put on my wife's spectacles and was looking at the tadpoles in the garden pond. My wife really deserved her nickname of Mrs McGoo.

  4. hello everyone

so far on our journey we have had two guests adding to our story which now reads thus:-

He sat and looked and another appeared. They were like evil monsters. He could count five circling his feet, ankle deep in the water. The water was clear, he watched as one latched onto his big to, another attached itself to his ankle. "leeches" he screamed as he pulled his feet out of the water and stood on the dock.My panic soon abated as i realised the truth. I had mistakenly put on my wife's spectacles and the leeches were in fact tadpoles in our garden pond. My wife deserves her nickname 'Mrs McGoo'

    Please continue.
